My name is Maria (Mia) Trocchi. I am a Master's student at Georgia Tech studying Human-Computer Interaction. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Computational Media with a minor in German from GT. Computational Media is an interdisciplinary major between Computer Science and the school of Literature, Media, and Communications. 

 

I thrive in roles where I can serve as a communicator between people with varying levels of technical understanding, acting as a translator to ensure everyone's needs are met, from the backend developers to the end users (internal or external clients). I'm well suited for these positions as I am a great communicator, fast learner, and have a strong technical understanding of programming practices and common coding languages.

 

I'm interested in pursuing positions in UI/UX, project management, and technical communications. My main interest in research is the Educational Technology domain with a focus in language learning. I also enjoy designing and would love to showcase some of my designs that I've cultivated over my 4 years at Tech.
