This is a short film I made with my Video Production class. It's titled "Falling on Deaf Ears" based on a script written by a peer in a screenwriting class.

This class took us through the entire process of filmmaking, from Development to Pre-Production to Production to Post-Production. I have experience working with BlackMagic cameras, boom mics, TASCAMs, DaVinci editing software, ShotDesigner, StudioBinder, grip responsibilities, set/artistic direction, and working with LED and natural lighting.

For this production specifically, I worked on artistic direction (set and costumes) as well as serving as a point of contact with someone in the Deaf community to ensure we were telling this story as sensitively and accurately as possible.

Disclaimer: our actress playing the Deaf character is hearing, but she and our team received advice from a member of the Deaf community to help with her portrayal in the film.
