TeamSync

This is my final project from my CS Junior Design class. At the beginning of the year, we were given a client to work with and tasked with delivering a product that fulfilled their needs. Our client was our CS Junior Design professors who were seeking a better way to conduct the Junior Design registration process.

The class is traditionally spread over 2 semesters where teams and projects are formed in the Fall semester and continued in the Spring. Keeping teams together and assigning sections based on everyone's individual needs and time conflicts given the rest of their Spring schedules was complicated, labor intensive, and still led to some teams breaking up.

Our solution was a comprehensive website wherein students could fill out their preferences, our algorithm would assign the most optimal section for their group, and admins could view and export these results.

My contributions included visual design and branding as well as workshopping general user flow for each feature in our user stories. Additionally, I acted as an organizational leader on the team keeping everyone on track for different deadlines, meetings, and ensuring even work distribution. I had to manage some conflicts within the team, but it led to a greater understanding of my leadership skills.
