Our app: a play-by-play

We created an app in Android Studio that connects to a user's Spotify account to deliver a customized Wrapped page, summarizing a user's listening habits in a creative layout, along with other exciting features detailed to the right!

Main Home Page

This page displays clearly labeled buttons to perform actions such as updating account information, deleting your account, signing out of the app as well as buttons to navigate to pages that generate new Wrapped, view past Wrappeds, and take a fun quiz based on your listening habits.

Wrapped Page

This page contains a button to generate a new Spotify Wrapped as well as a toggle switch to choose the time span the Wrapped is summarizing. When displayed, the Wrapped shows the user's username at the top of the screen and their top artists, songs, and genres for the user to scroll through. There is also a homepage button at the bottom for easy navigation.

View Past Wrapped

On this page, the user is shown past Spotify Wrappeds they have generated that they can scroll through to view top artists, songs, and genres and navigate between with the Previous and Next buttons at the bottom of the page. Additionally, there is a homepage button to navigate back to the main screen.

Listening Habits Quiz

This page displays a question about a user's listening habits and 4 options to choose from. A popup will inform them if they got the question right or not and they can generate a new question using the button at the bottom of the screen. They can also go back to the homepage with the back button at the bottom of the page.
